Dana Cockrell, Owner, Chef and Cake Artist of Dana’s Cake Creations, is an Accountant by trade and a cake decorator at heart. Her love for baking started at the age of 4 when she received an Easy Bake Oven. By her senior year of high school, she was in charge of all family baking.
Remembering the cute birthday cakes her mom made for her and her brother as children, Dana enlisted a friend to take Wilton Decorating classes with her in 2004 offered at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. After the completion of several classes, in 2006 she launched Dana’s Little Cake Confections specializing in custom and homestyle cakes and cookies for family and friends. Since that time, she has honed her decorating skills as her love of the craft has grown. In 2018, Dana realized her passion was custom celebration and wedding cakes and rebranded to Dana’s Cakes Creations.
Dana’s Cakes Creations is a home-based cottage law bakery specializing in custom ‘Cakes for All Occasions’. Dana’s goal is to work with you to design and execute your vision and make your event truly unforgettable.
